![]() ![]() Hopefully things will be resolved.ĮDIT 3: I found what happened to specifically me on the EA forum, and so I told a live representative this. I'll be sure to include these discoveries in my next interaction with EA's Terms of Service customer support.ĮDIT 2: I spoke to a live representative at EA's customer support, they began an investigation on my account. ![]() I care very little for my rank and would gladly get it reset if it means I can have access to my account. I dug around some more and saw that there is an RP glitch that people are abusing and getting banned for, which would definitely make more sense and give reason for my ban, but how would I have gotten RP at all if I never played ranked? ( disregard previous statement, it was an elaboratee bait video) The spike in RP was from earlier today when I was already banned. The numbers should suggest that I wasn't hacking and that I never hacked in any season from 1-8.ĮDIT: checking my stats on shows that I'm Gold 1 despite never touching ranked? My RP shot up from 0 all the way up to 4,698 RP. I perform slightly above casual and I'm not even ranked. P.S, before accusing me of truly being a hacker trying to save face,įeel free to check my stats on any of the apex stat tracking websites. Do you think this will be resolved before the two year anniversary event is up? As someone who's been wrongfully banned and nothing to hide, I'd like to hear what you all think of the situation. I had read that a player got his account unbanned in 5 exchanged between him and EA support. Apex was working just fine the night before, and now it suddenly isn't despite no change in network, hardware, software, or anything else. Undoubtedly, the Steam update that none of my friends got was the cause of this. I'll be looking into what he did to resolve his issue, though I doubt it would work because I wasn't doing any sort of modding during the issue. After submitting the case I quickly checked my other origin games to see if my whole origin account has been banned.Īfter a nice round of Titan Fall 2 on Steam and Origin, I can safely say that my origin account is not banned, just my Apex client if that makes sense.ĭoing some more digging, the author of a post on the EA forums said that his Apex's EAC was triggered when he left Apex open while doing some modding for PayDay2. I checked my email and was relieved to find out that this was not the case for me.Īnother post suggested that CS:GO cheats set off Apex's Easy Anti Cheat, which wasn't my case either, as I didn't play CS:GO, much less cheat in it.įrom there, I opened a case as the majority of the posts on Reddit and even EA's forums regarding this issue suggested doing so. One post suggested that the player's account was hacked, and that they didn't know until they checked their email where they saw countless emails from EA saying that their account has been accessed from somewhere else. The first thing I did was read if there were any other cases of random bans similar to mine. "Client's game account has been banned: Banned" I was able to get into the menu, and queue into a game, but before I could select a character, I was brought to the opening screen with the dreaded message Shrugging it off, I updated and booted up apex, where I interestingly got another "First time set up" box rather than what's typically there. I boot up steam, and it states that there is an update pending for Apex. I played and fell off around season 3, only coming back during season 7 where I maxed out the battle pass for that sick revolutionary R99.īetween S7 and the current season, I swapped over from Origin to Steam for Apex, since all my friends were playing from there, and it was a great deal more convenient to squad up. In that file, My_EA_Data.JSON, look for the bottom of the text, there you can find all the login attempts into your account. For context, I joined apex in the first week. Meanwhile, you can check is your Origin was hacked by going into Origin client -> EA Account and Billing -> Your EA Data and request all info about your account. ![]() I'm waiting on the reply from support, it takes up to 14 days, sadly. But apparently, the hacker used an Origin client as I got 3/12 achievements there and zero playtime. ![]() I have only played Apex Legends through Steam and all 10 out of 12 my achievements are on Steam. Never cheated, exploited or hacked in my life. Yep, apperantly I got banned for cheating! LOL. I've opened a live chat and they reset password and installed 2-factor auth but today I was banned as well (not to mention hacker used my precious points to unlock Octane. My Origin got hacked yesterday while I was at work (and I only played Axex through Steam) and someone played through Origin for a couple of hours.
